Yes, I know I am 10 days late and I apologize, but I think July has some pretty good music, well maybe. I've been quite obsessed with Rent this much so I have some more favorites from the movie.. I can't help it, I become obsessed with musicals.
1.) Rent: from the Musical Rent
I think this song is really amazing, and it is the perfect opening for a musical if I do say so myself. I usually don't listen to rock music but, this is absolutely amazing and I am obsessed with Anthony Rapp's voice. If I was a guy, I would want to play Mark Cohen in Rent, he is amazing, and we can relate. For example in La Vie Boheme, which is a song in the musical at the end of the song all of these couples are together and being all lovey and Mark is just dancing all crazy like, that's totally me.
2.) Best of 2012 Pop Mashup: Anthem Lights
I discovered this group on Pandora, and I have heard this arangement of songs for quite some time, but this past month it came on a lot and I Love it especially the end. "Call Me Maybe at a Payphone Wide Awake and standing on a Starship waiting while we're young tonight." It's perfect!
3.) The Scientist: Coldplay
This song has always been one of my favorites and in the nights when I couldn't go to sleep I would put this song on repeat and it would soothe me to sleep. I love this song, and a while back I could relate to this song, and whenever I listen to it I remember how I got through some hard times.
4.) Another Day: From the musical Rent
I love this song, and just everyone singing it. Everyone that was involved in this song are perfect, They are so talented and I love this song so much because of that. Even though the scene isn't in the movie it is on the deleted scenes, and it's also on the movie soundtrack. I wish they hadn't cut this scene from the movie because this song is perfect and makes the movie a tad bit more understandable.
5.) Elephant Love Medley: from Moulin Rouge
I love this medley of songs and it is perfect! I mean perfect. I can't even describe how much I've listened to this..
6.) Feeling Good: Michael Buble'
Michael Buble is one of those go to artists when I am just upset or if I just am in desperate need of some good music. I love this song, and though I can't sing it the greatest, I love to hear it.
7.) Take a Look at Me Now (Against All Odds): Phil Collins
I have listened to this song a million times.. I am not even kidding, I feel so connected to this song, and I get emotional every time I sing it. I also put up a cover of this song not to long ago check that out here.
That's it for July, I hope you all are enjoying them! There isn't much this month, there could be so much more but, I don't want to put the whole Rent soundtrack on here. Can't wait to do August! It will be exciting.

He didn't die he just took the midnight train going anywhere
Isn't it strange how most teenagers will obsess over a celebrity? Yet, we don't really realize how much it would effect us when they are gone? I heard so many things about Cory from the internet and most of his cast mates on twitter. He seemed like the nicest guy anyone could know. I wanted to meet him someday, and now I'll never get the chance. My heart brakes for his family, friends, cast mates, and Lea Michele. I couldn't imagine how hard it would be to loose a loved one so unexpectedly. He still had more of a life to live and he doesn't get that chance.
Honestly when I find out that Cory had passed I thought it wasn't true and then I went online to read it and I saw it all over news sites. Part of me is wishing to hear that this isn't happening and that it isn't true. I know though that things like this happen and they can't be undone. I feel so bad for Cory and I know that he was struggling with a substance addiction. When he checked out of rehab and he seemed to be doing so much better I thought he was going to be one of the ones that made it out of addiction alive. I think all of his fans thought so. Ever since I first saw Glee Cory was one of my favorites. I loved the way he acted on screen and I couldn't wait to see him in every episode. It is hard to loose an idol or inspiration but I still can't imagine what his family, and friends are going through.
I think it is just best to hang out to the idols and inspirations you have, one day you could wake up and just find out that they are gone, unexpectedly. I know that Cory is in a better place now, out of struggle, and safe from harm. We all just need to know that Cory will be looking down on all of his fans and seeing how much he actually changed their lives. Today, I'm going to remember Cory for the inspiration he gave me, and know that maybe God just needed a 6 ft 3 talented, nice, and inspirational Canadian.
Cory started of his Glee journey performing "Don't Stop Believing" and he ended it performing it. "He didn't die he just took the train going anywhere"

June Music Favorites
I wanted to do this post on the first of June I just got so busy and didn't have time. I am however super glad to be writing it now!
Let's start off with a song that I can't get out of my head first
1.) Mirrors: Justin Timberlake
I never really listened to Justin Timberlake before but honestly after this song I don't know why I never did. I love this song and its amazing. It's been on repeat for me lately. It's my go to song for inspiration right now.
2.) Take Me or Leave Me: from the Broadway musical Rent and also the movie.
I love Broadway songs and I watched Rent and absolutely loved it and pretty much all of the songs in it. This song is just amazing and I could listen to it over and over again and never get tired of it. Honestly I feel that a lot of people don't like and or care for me anymore but this song really makes me think just screw them. They can either take me for what I am, who I was meant to be or they can leave.
3.) The A Team: Ed Sheeran
This song is just beautiful. I think Ed is extremely talented. I never really listened to him much before, I knew of him but never took time to listen to him and boy was that a mistake. This song is truly beautiful and one of my favorites of all time now.
4.) Where We Used to Run: Landon Austin
What would a favorites be without something by the amazing Landon. I don't know why I am so obsessed with this song but I am and I have been since May. Is it time for a new favorite song? I don't think so. I really do love this song though and all the lyrics behind it as well. And of course I love Landon Austin because he is beyond talented ans you ha to admit he's cute to(:
5.) I'll Cover You: Rent
This song and the emotion behind it is beautiful, I love it! I promise I won't go on a splurge of rent songs even though I really want to. It's a perfect love song.
6.) Brown Eyed Girl: Van Morrison
I have loved this song for a long time but haven't listened to it much until last month. I bought it on itunes and I just listened to it over and over again. It is one of those songs that I would love someone to sing to me someday. I just feel happy whenever I hear it and I don't even know why.
7.) Check Yes Juliet: We The Kings
I remember when I loved this song and I would listen to it everyday. I heard it on Pandora at the beginning of June and I just listened to it a lot throughout June. It is a really good song and I love it.
8.) Lightning: Alex Goot
I love this song and I used to listen to it a lot. Throughout June I did a lot listening to a lot of the music on my Ipod to fall asleep at night. I came across this song and I just listened to it a lot and I love Alex Goot, he is amazingly talented. Soon I would love to be able to see him in concert and actually meet him. I think the rest of this post should be dedicated to how adorable Alex looks in that tie.... hmm maybe we shouldn't do that.
9.) Fine by Me: Andy Grammer
I love all of the songs by Andy Grammer he is a great musician and I love hearing all of his songs they make me happy. I heard this song almost everyday on Pandora and I was alright with that. It is a great song and most of Andy Grammers music is.
10.) Summer Love: Luke Conard
I love love love Luke Conard. I have so much respect for him as a person and as a musician. He is one of the reasons I am making YouTube videos. This is cheating a little though, it came out around the end of June but oh well. I also just love this song! It truly is amazing, I think it's one of those songs that most people could relate to having a summer love and what not. Just being in love in general really. I am also super super super excited for Luke to be making his first professional studio album.
I really hope that you all enjoy this post and I will be doing another one the first of August for July. So stay tuned!! I am starting to be less busy so hopefully I will be able to start blogging more and staring more weekly or monthly things.

Life Photos
I felt that I needed to show some photos that I have taken and edited. I've posted them in various places but not on my blog.
Photography is a beautiful way to capture life. I love taking pictures. I get this really happy feeling inside whenever I find something to take a picture of and after it's edited and complete I just get this great sense of accomplishment. Pictures are beautiful and it's a great way to capture beauty and life.
With much love,

Imagination
I was thinking today. I really needed to clear my head. I listened to music and just shut my eyes, this didn't seem to help. I ended up turning off everything just sitting in a room, just me and my dog. I needed to calm down be at peace not worry about anything. So, I sat there, took a deep breath and let it all out. I shut my eyes and imagined the most peaceful place I could think of.
A quiet, peaceful meadow with flowers. The flowers are scattered all over the meadow. There are so many colors red, orange, yellow, blue, purple every color flower that can be imagined. The grass is bright green, it's short freshly cut grass. Soft, not scratchy. So many tall trees that give shade. There are really old trees that stretch up high and some brand new trees that are just starting to reach towards the sky.
The meadow has no people, it is filled with the sounds of nature. Leaves rustling while a slight breeze passes through. There are chirps of birds. Not enough to cause an annoyance just enough to have a peaceful sound. There are sounds of animals running around, their feet hitting the ground as they scurry about.
The meadow has a small river. Filled with tiny rocks and big rocks. I imagine myself walking across these rocks and just listening to the sound of nature. The water is slightly hitting the rocks creating the most peaceful sound. The river isn't huge, it isn't deep it's the perfect size to walk bare foot through and just enjoy the flow of the cold water.
This meadow is the perfect place. It is the most calm and relaxing thing I have though of in a long time. It is the perfect stress reliever. I want to find a place like this someday. I know I will. I sat and imagined this place for 15 minutes or so. It was probably the most calming moment I have had in a long time.

May Music Favorites
I feel so sad that I didn't do one of these posts for April. I just didn't know what songs to put on it since I was pretty much listening to the same music from March. I actually have been listening to some new songs as well as some old songs that I can put on this post. I am actually quite surprised with how much favorites I have this month. So with out further ado lets start this post.
1.) She Will Be Loved
Maroon 5
This song is probably one of my favorite songs in the entire world. I have loved Maroon 5's music for the longest time. I love all of Maroon 5's songs just because there is stories behind them and of course because of Adam Levine and I love him as well! I think the main reason I love this song is probably because of the lyrics and the over music score. The lyrics just mean something to me. It's actually one of those songs that if a guy ever sang to me I'd probably fall head over heels for him. What a big dreamer I am right?
2.) Where We Used To Run
Landon Austin
Landon is one of the most amazing male singers that I listen to. This song makes me happy and I love the lyrics to the song. The chorus of the song would be my favorite even though the song itself is amazing. I just love it. It is just about leaving, going to the places that you love, the places you always dreamed of going. It is probably my living motto at the moment. I have written parts of this song every thing that I have. It means a lot to me right now. It is my go to when I am sad song right now.
3.) New York, New York
Frank Sinatra
Ah, Sinatra. He is one of the greatest singers of all time in my opinion. I have always loved this song but, since I went to New York at the end of April I have found myself listening to it a lot. I just love this song, I love New York, I love Sinatra, I think this song is perfect for me. There isn't much else I can say about it. I just love this song!
4.) Sunday Morning
Maroon 5
Another Maroon 5 song. Yes, I know this was on my March favorites but I listen to this song everyday. It is one of those songs that I just love no matter what. I love the lyrics, the music, the band, just everything. It fits perfectly for my vocal range to and that is another thing that I have to love about it. I have to say that this Maroon 5 song will always be a go to listen for me and I will never get tired of it. There is one thing that I must say, whenever it finally rains on a Sunday morning I am going to film me singing this song. I think it will have more of an effect. Even though, that's kind of strange but, I am a strange person so who cares.
5.) The Scientist
Coldplay
I find myself listening to this song every once in a while but lately it's been one of those ones on repeat and I can't seem to figure it out. I honestly haven't listened to it this much since October, and the song described exactly how I felt at the moment of those sad, and unsure days. It really is an amazing song though and I think that Coldplay is an amazing band. I love a lot of their music even though I don't listen to their music right when it comes out. I find myself listening to their music after it's gone through the popular music top 20's or whatever.
6.) Your Song
Orignial: Elton John
My Pick: Glee sung by Blake Jenner (Ryder)
I do love Elton John he is an amazing artist but I actually heard this song on glee first.. ugh, when doesn't that happen to me? Well, I love the lyrics to this song It is one of those romantic songs except it is kind of funny and I just love it. I am one of those girls that just falls in love with any type of romantic song and the fact that Blake Jenner got to sing this on Glee makes me quite happy. He is pretty amazing and I just love his voice and I can't wait to see what happens with his character next season on glee.. okay off topic. back to the original reason for writing this post.
7.) Back In Love
Landon Austin
Oh, look another Landon Austin song. I actually got his album Once In A Lifetime from my friend Hannah and I love all of the songs on there and for about two weeks or so it was the only thing I listened to. I am being serious about this. I just love Landon Austin like I said earlier. I love this song though because it is basically how I feel about well someone. I shouldn't but I do. I just love listening to it though it truly is an amazing song that I won't get tired of for a while.
(couldn't find a link for this one.. sorry)
8.) Take Me Or Leave Me
RENT (The musical)
I love Broadway music. Although I haven't posted much of them on my favorites but they will end up here sometimes, I promise. I just love this song. It is powering and I love singing it. I also love the emotion behind it. I just love how it is basically saying that you can take me as I am or just leave me. I can sing it about a situation. I love that about it and it is one of those perfect acting song. Probably my next musical audition song. I love it that much. We will see though.
9.) Against All Odds (Take a Look At Me Now)
Original: Phil Collins
My Pick: Glee sung by: Darren Criss
I love almost everything Darren sings on glee but this would probably be my favorite of all time. I just love the lyrics of this song and it is also a powering song that I love to sing and actually have reason to sing. I can't explain how much this song has helped me through some situations in the past couple of weeks.
Well that was my May Music favorites and I will be doing another one of these next month for June!!

Let the Rain Fall Down and Wake my Dreams.
It's a little strange how I hate thunderstorms when they actually happen, but yet they sooth me. Rain is just a calming thing, it's inspirational, it's peaceful. It is an easing, reassuring feeling. All you hear is the sound of rain as it it hits everything it reaches. There isn't much to it. It's the type of weather that can be romantic, sad, happy, depressing, or anything you want it to be. More than once have I actually rain through the rain, danced in it even, and felt truly free. There is nothing in the world that feels better. You feel the cold form of precipitation falling on your skin and it feels wonderful. Rain can be a horrible experience for some people. If there is truly a bad moment in your life and it tends to rain. I encourage you, go dance, walk, or run through the rain. It not only clears everything from your mind but it feels free.
Whenever a rain storm comes out, I find myself typing, writing, singing. I feel that everything rushes to me when it rains. I write stories so much better, I write songs better, I sing the most loudest. It is a muse of it's on. Rain doesn't just help me write, or sing, it makes me feel greater, relived even. There are so many people that are outside on beautiful days. Why not rainy days? They bring just as much happiness. There isn't anything better than dancing outside in the rain or even splashing trough puddles. There is laughter and fun. It isn't a hurtful feeling or even a horrible feeling. It's a good feeling and inside your spirit is lifted. There isn't just a sense of happiness but a sense of relief.
Whenever it rains, it pours and it feels wonderful. Dancing in the rain, running in the rain, jumping in puddles, watching the drops fall on your window, hearing the soothing sound, and enjoying how much of a muse it is. It is wonderful. There truly isn't anything better than a rain storm. Even though rain can sometimes be considered depressing and horrible, you have to focus on the good things that it can bring to you, not just the negative things.

First of all, I want to apologize that this post is so late.. I just haven't gotten around to posting it! Sorry everyone!
I went to New York City recently and it was indeed the best day of my life so far and it was in fact needed. It was the best day that I've had in a long time. I expected it to be fun, but I didn't expect to have as much fin as I did. I'm so glad I went because it was the best experience of my life. It was just strange the way that I felt so alive and happy in the city. It was breath taking, the people, the experience I felt just like I was at home, but it's not my home. It was just so strange to feel the way I did, but it just happened. I was so overwhelmed by the amount of people, and I know that New York is a big city so I expected it. I didn't expect for everyone there to be somewhat kind, I didn't have a horrible experience with any one I ran into in the city. I expected there to be some rude people but there wasn't and I was actually quite surprised. So let's get into the details of the whole trip now.
First, my mom and I had gone on the bus and we were taken to the city. The trip was pretty boring for the most part but once we started getting closer to the city I got really excited, I could see the New York skyline, all the tall buildings. We had to drive to where we were getting dropped off and it was pretty much really close to times square. I got off the bus and I was super excited to go explore the city and the best part was we got to start off the day with seeing one of my favorite places ever. Radio City Music Hall, we walked passed it and of course I took some pictures of it. It was pretty amazing, I want to perform in there some day, there and Madison Square Garden. We didn't go into Radio City or anything, I wish we could've but we couldn't.
After we were done with Radio City, both my mom and I wanted to go see the American Museum of Natural History. I'm a big fan of the Night at The Museum movies so I thought it would be cool to see the museum they used to film on the outside in person. We had no clue where we were supposed to go and so some guy trying to sell bike tours gave us a map and told us where to go. We had followed his directions and he got us completely lost. After a while my mom and I figured out where we were supposed to go and we walked and walked and walked. We saw some pretty cool things on the way though. I saw a lot of The Great Gatsby movie signs so I took pictures of them, we saw the Trump towers and hotel building or something like that, and also where they film The Late Show with David Letterman. It was a peaceful walk and my mom and I just talked on our way there. The museum pretty much follows Central Park so once me and my mom reached the entrance to Central Park we started to walk through it. We ended back up on the streets though and kept walking until we reached the museum. All we really did was walked through it and I took some pictures of things that were pretty interesting. We had looked at everything that we needed to so we just left and decided to go get something to eat.
I really wanted to go to Ellen's Stardust Diner because my friend had told me about it, so that is where we ended up eating. We had an amazing waitress she was so nice and sweet and such a good singer, There was also a very very and I repeat VERY attractive French waiter there and he could sing so to me that made him even more attractive. I really had no clue what to order because everything there looked so good. I just decided to go with the Frank Sinatra Pizza Burger, because you can't go wrong with Sinatra right? It was actually pretty good. We got ready to leave and I had given the waitress by business card that has my YouTube and all that good stuff on it. She said she would check it out so that's pretty cool. We had gotten ready to leave and we just decided to walk and go wherever we wanted.
It was pretty epic and we saw so many things. If you want to see all the places I went then watch my vlog on my channel. We had seen a lot of street performers and artists selling their work. It was amazing and it just felt good. I even met GloZell, which was awesome! Being the shy girl that I am I never thought in a million years that I would just walk up to someone like I did. I truly didn't have a care in the world, I walked right up to her and asked for a picture and even gave her my business card. It was truly the best day ever. I really can't explain how much I enjoyed everything and I much I long to go back. It was a great day and something I will never ever forget.
Yours Truly,
Kristina Rene'
